Lugano: the quality of a living environment

I share observations from my visit to Lugano and explain why privacy, natural light and access to outdoor space matter when choosing a home.

What makes a comfortable residential environment

For me, a good residential environment depends on tangible qualities: natural light, privacy, greenery and access to outdoor space. Photographs from my visit to Lugano accompany my discussion of these criteria. When choosing a home, I consider how the space will function day to day: where a workspace can fit, how private a terrace will be and how interior rooms connect to a garden or balcony.

How I assess the space in a future home

When comparing residences, I review window orientation, room depth, neighbouring buildings and the connection between living areas and outdoor spaces. I also discuss your routines, including working from home, entertaining and the need for personal space. This helps us relate a floor plan to your lifestyle and define requirements for an individual property.
